Galatians 4:1-3

Paul shows that through Christ we are delivered from the law, and he rebukes the unthankfulness of the Galatians.

4 And I say that the heir, as long as he is a child, does not differ from a servant, though he be lord of all, ² but is under tutors and managers until the time appointed by the father. ³ Likewise we, as long as we were children, were in bondage under the ordinances of the world.
